Interested in fitness, self-defense, self-improvement and fun? Come train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) with the Gomes BJJ Academy. Beginners are more than welcome!

People of all body sizes, ages, fitness and experience welcome to join. We train at Selina Plaza, besides MTN Service Center at Kabalagala on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17:00. And on Saturdays at 11am. Please show up wearing regular sports clothing, no shoes required. Classes are thought by Weverson Gomes, an experienced BJJ black belt.

Our Story

Interested in fitness, self-defense, self-improvement and fun? Come train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) with the Gomes BJJ Academy. People of all body sizes, ages, fitness and experience welcome to join. Beginners are more than welcome! We train at the Masters Studio on Ntinda 2 road.

Class schedule:

Advanced Classes (white belt two stripes and up): Mon and Wed, 6:30pm to 7:45 pm Beginners Classes: Tue and Thur, 7:00pm to 8:00pm Submission Classes (open to any level): Sundays, 6pm to 7pm Open Mat Session (open to any level, free of charge): Sundays, 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm MMA Classes: Wednesdays, 8pm to 9pm Each class costs 25.000 shillings, first three classes for 12k each. Please show up wearing regular sports clothing, no shoes required. Classes are thought by Weverson Gomes, an experienced BJJ black belt.
