"This is a great tour if you haven’t been to the area (or even if you have). I was with a small group and we got to visit three different rooftop bars. Our guide gave us a history of things around us and had some great historical photos and stories so we could see the difference between then and now. You’ll get enough time to enjoy beverages and snacks at each bar. The views are amazing. It was a great afternoon!"

“I’m not typically the type of person who might go on this tour, given that I live in Asheville and have for 10 years. But, after being invited via a friend’s surprise birthday, I have to say that it was a great experience. I visited rooftops I didn’t know existed and saw views of Asheville and the mountains that I rarely get to see. The cocktails at every stop were spot on, and I enjoyed learning more about Asheville’s history from our guide. If you’re looking for something fun to do with some friends, this is a pretty great way to do it.”

👋 Hey everyone! We've welcomed many new followers lately, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself. I'm Kaye Bentley, the founder and owner of Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours! 🏙️🍹

Before diving into crafting tours, I spent 38 years as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. In 2018, the breathtaking rooftop views of our city inspired me to create a tour blending Asheville's unique art deco architecture, rich history, beautiful mountain views, and artisanal drinks. 🌆🥂

It's been an incredible journey! 🎉 Being honored as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Carolina Small Business Development Fund in 2020 was incredible. Equally inspiring was receiving the 2019 Creativity in Business Award from the Western Women's Business Center. Additionally, being the first guest on AARP's "Meet the Founder" series was an absolute highlight! 🏆💼

As we step into 2024, I'm thrilled, along with my team, to continue sharing the magic of our Asheville rooftop experiences with all of you. Join us for an unforgettable journey through our vibrant city, where history, views, drinks, and food converge in the most spectacular way! 🌟✨

OUR STORY

Our company was created out of our owner’s love for Asheville NC! Kaye Bentley, a retired U.S. Postal Service mail carrier and WNC native, took a passionate curiosity about the historical photos of our city’s past, and combined them with visits to Asheville’s award winning rooftop bars to create a one of a kind rooftop tour experience in the heart of the city. Tour guests can experience 3-4 rooftop bars in one afternoon with us as your guide on the rooftops and also as your drivers around the city.
