Say hello to the QuiltCon 2023 Featured Speaker: Chawne Kimber!
Chawne is an international award-winning quilter. Taking inspiration from the quilts of her ancestors, she creates statements in cotton that respond to social justice issues with layers of meaning - often stopping the viewer in their tracks. Her improvisational techniques, meaningful color stories, and tiny piecing adventures have created a joyful and impactful body of work.
The QuiltCon Together Quilting Excellence award-winning quilt “still not” by Chawne is now on exhibit at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Join Chawne for an unforgettable featured lecture to celebrate 10 years of QuiltCon.

QuiltCon Together: February 18-22, 2021

QuiltCon is an international modern quilt show that typically features over 550 quilts, over 100 vendors, and dozens of workshops and lectures over four days. QuiltCon 2020 took place in Austin, Texas from February 20-23, 2020, but for 2021, in an abundance of caution and forethought, QuiltCon Together will occur, all online with a virtual quilt show, vendor hall, on-demand classes, live lectures and more. Find out more at www.QuiltCon.com
