❤️🐘AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM WE MUST DASH❤️🐘

In light of COVID-19, our business has paused, as the world has seemingly stopped moving. Our hearts have been in solidarity with the countless friends all over the world who help us to create amazing experiences for our travelers. Many rely solely on tourism dollars for their livelihoods and well being, and that money has disappeared during this time.

In particular, we have been thinking a lot about our friend in Chiang Mai who runs an elephant sanctuary: Elephant sanctuary care Park. Eddy owns two elephants,Tomato & Papaya (both females around 30 years old), that he cares for like they are his family members. Only imagine that your family members eat 200 kg (approx 450 lbs) of food PER DAY. With no guests to help, Eddy and his family are currently foraging the land with friends to help feed his big babies ❤️

We are reaching into our traveling community to source help for Eddy and his family. Any donation, large or small, can make a huge difference!

We hope you will join us to ensure that these elephants continue to be cared for, and that we are able to continue visiting Eddy, Tomato & Papaya for many years to come!

DAY 5: Our Virtual Vacation today is taking you right to our backyard in Niagara Falls, NY.

Although most of the tourism traffic we receive is during summer months, we also love the area in the colder months as well.

I shot this two years ago just before spring broke. I love spending time next to the rapids, just watching the water and the sheer power of the river as it funnels toward the falls. I watch this sometimes when I need to calm down; so hopefully it can do that for you too ❤️

If there is one small, albeit strange positive from our current situation, it is the sudden interest in alternatives to toilet paper. We are super supporters of the age of the bidet (or as we like to call it, the "bum gun"). Anyone who has traveled with us knows that we encourage everyone to try bidets or the toilet sprayer because really, Americans are SO BEHIND the curve on bathroom practices. Not only are bidets and sprayers better for the environment, they're cleaner too. They also leave you fresher; it's like a shower every trip to the bathroom. Some bidets even play music (for discretion), have heated seats, and customized options for multiple members of the family! The rest of the world out there living in 2050. Comon America, let the age of the bidet begin! 🚽
