Sunrise to moonrise, it’s always a great time to be at Sea La Vie North Captiva. Break free from the cold because the weather couldn’t be more beautiful on the island at this time of year.

Hey Sea La Vie families, we just opened up for a rare 4 day Thanksgiving weekend!!

Just finished renovating the upstairs bathroom with an expanded walk in shower! It’s so beautiful, especially in person!
This opening allows you to check in whenever during the week and checkout on your schedule!

Not our typical Sunday to Sunday! And the weather couldn’t be more beautiful right now.

This is a great way to help the workers on island with needed supplies. A variety of price points!! Thank you to everyone who has reached out asking how you can help! Our island is incredibly coming back together. The management companies like Shally's Seashells Property Management, Tortuga , the island club and more have come together and work on massive island cleaning. They have established the roadways and restored them, and helping homeowners to triage homes. It’s nothing short of a miracle how quickly this island is restoring! Our North Captiva island is going to even better than before Ian!!

This was taken by our very brave Shally's Seashells Property Management. They are on island along with a few others that are beyond the definition of “true blue”. Working for hours on end with minimal provisions. We can’t wait until it is permitted to join forces and help our hero’s. It’s been a rough week for our family of North Captiva family, still there and enduring some very unthinkable situations.

Thank you to all our loyal renter family that has sent prayers, reached out, texted, emailed, called…. We are grateful for your prayers, we are grateful for you and your wise voices & support.

At this time our lil pink lady has been through it hard. We do not have an update on her damages . We know that we were a direct hit, cat 4 hurricane.

Jim and I went down last week and left on Monday. We said prayers, buttoned her up and gave her a kiss on the way out. She our pride and joy and we are heartbroken.

My best friend told me… ”she’s as tough as old boots”. We know that our family is safe and our lovely Sea La Vie has been given all we can to protect her from the storms beating.

We should know for sure by tomorrow what damages we have had. We do know that most of the island has been severely hit… roofs, windows, walls and more all blown out. No one has been to our side to see what has happened.

We are praying hard, have cried a river of tears and all we can do is have faith.

Thank you again, for your love and support. As soon as I know more, we will post updates.

For anyone that has standing reservations, you know us and you know we will make it right by you. Let’s see what we have left to work with and make decisions about future rentals as we learn about the damage to not only Sea La Vie but the island.

Please say an extra prayer for the loyal and true blue people that stayed behind to watch over North Captiva. We continue to pray for their wellness and safety.

It’s another day in paradise at Sea La Vie Beach house! Day or night, you can play beachside on your own private white sand beach. Opening Sunday 1/17-1/24/21. Hideaway from Covid. Three masters and one bunk kids crew room. Room for 10. Comes with two golf carts and the club membership. Message for direct rate.
