It’s almost an out-of-body experience walking through the doors at the local model railroad club. Like gods in their own little universes, these model railroaders are building worlds, including an impressively detailed recreation of Casper.

The public is invited to join Central Wyoming Model Railroad Association members Nov. 3-5 as they operate trains on their railroad layouts. Admission is free.

For those trains fans and budding trains enthusiasts: please come down to the club during open hours to look at the options for train sets and discuss a barter, trade, or donation option depending on the set. These are more are available including HO sets, Lionel O sets, miscellaneous sets and frame work.

This Saturday the 18th at 1pm, we will be hosting our ops session! Some new members will experience for the first time, while older members will help teach how these work. Videos and pictures will be posted Saturday during the event for those that cannot attend! Looking forward to seeing everyone that can make it!

On February 18, 2023, at 1pm, our next operating session will occur. We are actively preparing for 10 trains the travel through the layout. You can learn about the layout, learn about trains, and enjoy an afternoon.
