Amicalola Falls, a 729-foot waterfall that is the highest in Georgia, located inside Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge @amicalolafalls. The park is an 829-acre Georgia state park located between Ellijay and Dahlonega in Dawsonville, Georgia. The park's name is derived from a Cherokee language word meaning "tumbling waters." Amicalola is about a 45 minute drive from the cabin and perfect to get your waterfalls on.
