Thank you for visiting my page! Cairn Cottages LLC has been dissolved. While I still have one cottage, it's the one I live in and not available for rent at this time. My other cottages have been sold to full time residents. One of the things I love most about our little Town of Colonial Beach is our eclectic and diverse community. Yes, our beaches and marinas are packed with vacationers from June through August, but we are NOT just a summer beach town. We are a year-round town with year-round residents and part-time residents who come EVERY weekend. We are working and retired; some of us grew up here and others came here for the first time last year! Our community includes young and growing families with children in our independent school system and mid-lifers with an entrepreneurial flare for small business. Our businesses are supported by our neighbors in Westmoreland, King George, Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and beyond. My guests who are attending classes at Dahlgren may (or may not) be leaving about the middle of April. But, I have blocked my calendar on Airbnb just in case they are ordered to remain in place. I'm working closely with my Naval guests who are stationed or expected to be stationed at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, ATRC Dahlgren. I understand that my current guests may find themselves ordered to "stay in place." Incoming students may find they have orders to "stay in place" where they are and need to cancel their reservations. Airbnb has implemented a very generous cancellation policy for guests who booked prior to the State of Emergency being announced. To protect current and future guests, I have blocked dates on my Airbnb and VRBO calendars through June 15th. This may NOT mean I don't have space available. Please call or text me at (540) 287-8207.
