Who has this on their bucket list? Being in the water with this precious baby manatee would make anyone's day. It's an unforgettable experience. Happy Mana-Tee Tuesday!

PLEASE NOTE:
1) When observing manatees while photographing, it is important to abide by the passive observation techniques of calm and quiet floating!

2) Flash photography is not used around the manatees, as it can be harmful to their vision!

3) When the manatee approaches, one should “freeze and float” until it has passed!

If the climb up the 51 steps doesn’t do it, the view from the top of Mound A will take your breath away. Volunteer Karl says it's the best view in Citrus County - and visitors certainly agree!

The Crystal River Archaeological State Park is open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year. The Museum is open 9-5, Thursday thru Monday. And what a bargain it is at just $3 per vehicle!

A few tickets still remain for Moon Over the Mounds tomorrow evening's 8 and 8:30 tours with an archaeologist. Links to those $10 tickets were in Tuesday's post. ~Heather
