Didn’t get drawn for CO elk so I guess we will go gator hunting. Ga draw is open. Follow the link to apply. I WILL ONLY GUIDE ZONE 2 and I will only be down from 8/27-9/3. It will take a minimum of 5 points and that’s not a guarantee to get drawn. If a trophy to you is a 10’+ gator then I’m not your guy. I know a guy. If you want a guide that will bust his tail all night long and do everything he can to get you a legal gator, then take pics with you and your gator, I got you covered. Cost is $650/night. $325 deposit per night. First come first serve. If you want 2 nights and we kill the first night, we can bowfish/night ride/drink twisted teas or sleep, I don’t care but it’s still $650/nt. 770-826-4975

Shout out to Max It Out Leds. My NAV light bulb blew and I figured it would be an easy fix, so I ordered a bulb kit. They sent me not 1, but 2 bulb kits. Well, when I took the old light apart, I figured out that the way I store it had been allowing water to get into the bulb connection and rusted the whole outlet. This was no fault of Max It Out, but they still sent me a brand new replacement absolutely free. That’s good people there. Thanks again guys.

Carter and Claire brought in fish killing season with a bang. 8 fish in just over an hour on our local lake. Claire smoked the first of the season. Girl is a crack shot. Carter got the new Ga state record goldfish. 4.3 #. (EDIT: Looks like this is a Crucian Carn and not a goldfish.)Gotta work on getting it registered.

Great young man up in Tn that I met at last years NOEoutdoors expo. Jesse, the owner of Flippin Fish Tn makes the best shaky heads out there. My favorite design by far. This football head is the most sensitive head I’ve used and the fish suck it up.

Having to fix a little water damage, but the tournament rig is getting close. Bowfishing may be even more fun when I can crash in a bed instead of the back seat.

And just like that, another season has come and gone. Good friends rarely make good clients, but good clients often make good friends. I’ve been blessed to make some very good friends over the years doing what I love. This year I made an extra effort to focus on those clients/friends. We broke bread together, shared life stories with one another and enjoyed God’s blessings. As always, I can’t thank Jana Black Willingham enough for having my back and supporting my passions. Now we chase fish until November.

Some of the best looking and well trained setters I’ve ever seen. I’ve fallen for the short haired, long tail dogs, but I’m still gonna own one of these pine straw setters one day.

“Ace” and “Paint” styling today. They ain’t perfect, but they’re damn close. Both 80+% steady to wing, shot and fall. At 2 years old, they will be a bad duo for years to come.

What a great day at Big Cedar Ranch today. I got to shoot birds with some great clients this morning and then a great afternoon hunt with these love birds. Like father, like son. “Paint” has been a tough one to train, but she finally made the varsity team today. She solo hunted the entire evening hunt and was steady to wing, shot and fall over 80%. Have me a nice string of white dogs again.

Man it was a cold day full of hunts. The dogs didn’t seem to mind and the young pups are starting to put it together. Missed client pics this morning but we were all smiles with a daily total of nearly 70 birds.
