What a crazy MLK Day weekend! Here's what it looked like for the poor snowplow drivers that were trying to open roads for us in Logan Canyon.

Hats off to the Utah Department of Transportation crew for getting the canyon reopened so fast! 🤜🤛

❄️ Avalanches closed off Logan Canyon and made it next to impossible for most guests to get here over the weekend.
🌨️ 40"+ of new snow made the skiing and snowmobiling suddenly incredible
🌬️ It was an Arctic blast, so wind pushed that new snow into massive drifts in the valleys while leaving some ridges almost bare.

But man is the lake looking good after the storm has passed.

Garden City will celebrate the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on November 25! We love to see families come in with donut glaze smeared on the kids' smiles and cocoa cups in their mittens. You know summer is here in Bear Lake when our neighbors at Pickleville Playhouse start up their shows for the season. This year, they've got two shows lined up with "Thick of Thieves" to rob families of their cares and "Little Mermaid" returning in an encore from their 2019 production shown here.
