We updated our #2 home on Maneshaw Ln, and we have pictures! Repainted the living area and kitchen, updated the console and pictures and lamps and area rug, replaced the verticals with lovely curtains. Really freshened up the place! Come check it out this Fall before it gets really busy again next spring.

We had a repeat guest cancel their 3-week December vacation in our home, so we have a large block of dates suddenly available, including the first week of the holidays. Great weather, all the parks decorated for the holidays, the middle weeks of December are usually very quiet weeks, so shorter lines and less traffic.

We're now *75%* booked for the year, we're seeing an incredible amount of pent-up demand from the past two years of lockdowns.

On the other hand, we're only 61% booked after July 1, so we still have a lot of open blocks for your next vacation to Disney World. If you haven't already, book now for Fall if you want to make sure you get a nice place in the Orlando area. The weeks from October 15 to December 15 are usually amazing weather and lower cost than other times of the year (except for Thanksgiving weekend). Just sayin'. 😉

The world is acting like it's back to "normal". We're already 62% booked for 2022! For comparison, our normal year is 75% booked.

What does that mean to you? You will want to look at your Summer and Fall calendars *now* and figure out the best time for you and your family to come visit Orlando! Good places are booking quickly.

We watch the news too, although probably not as much as some. We see that Florida is a hotspot for Covid again and the state is so far taking no new steps except telling local schools they can't enforce mask rules. I'm sure this makes sense to someone.

Disney and Universal are starting to re-add masking and physical distancing rules and those will likely tighten more in the next week as cases increase. It's still relatively safe to go to theme parks **if you're vaccinated**.

If you're not vaccinated, this new variant appears to successfully transmit in less time than a theme park ride takes, so something to consider as you make your vacation plans.

October to right before Christmas are cooler and sunny and less crowded. Treat your family to a fun time in the Sunshine State!

Our summer bookings maxxed out, with only 4 open days in June and July between our two homes. We had some overseas guests cancel/postpone their October visits because many international borders are still closed to leisure travel. Look at your school calendars if you need and let us know you're coming!

"Normalcy" must be on the horizon. We're getting inquiries for large chunks of next spring from travelers, including overseas travelers. Also received multiple inquiries over the past weekend for summer visits. 🥰🥰🥰

We know we'll be back to normal when we start getting inquiries for weeks in November and early December when we're traditionally a little slower, but the weather in Orlando is amazing for hanging out all day in theme/water parks.

The Disney Parks Pass calendar has shown almost no availability over the last two weeks, and this trend continues into April.

We're having a VERY good spring... all things considered. In February, we had most of March and April open, now our #2 home is booked solid with 7 different traveling parties staying with us from March 11 to April 17!

Our #1 home still has a few periods open in April, so if you were thinking about getting away next month, go ahead and book it! We've been down to Disney World three times since November and feel very safe in the parks.
