Thank you all for a great 2022 season! We had a few hiccups with our refrigerator early in the summer but a new fridge finally arrived. We appreciate your patience as we worked to fix the problem. Our pool slide is currently out of commission. Due to the extreme heat and the amount of use it gets, the slide has a large crack. We are trying to repair it to get the remainder of the summer and we will have a new one for next year. Unfortunately, if it cannot be repaired, the slide will not be available for the remainder of the season as Covid has caused a 180 day shipping delay on pool slides. It is unfortunate but the safety of our guests is foremost in importance. Thank you for your understanding.

Fireworks are returning to the Outer Banks to celebrate July 4th! Kill Devil Hills fireworks are scheduled from Avon Pier located on mp 6 at dusk. These will definitely be visible from the house! Nags Head is setting off fireworks from the Nags Head Pier at 9:25. If you are looking for all day events, head to Manteo. They will have a bike parade, apple pie eating and fireworks! Remember that private fireworks are illegal in OBX as you are surrounded by highly flammable dune grass. Enjoy the celebration safely! 🧜‍♀️
