Traveling Alone: Everyone should try it. I learned a lot about myself, how to be comfortable at breakfast, lunch, and dinner by myself. Traveling alone taught me how to navigate a large airport and customs and when I wasn't sure, I asked. More importantly it also inspired me to start a conversation with complete strangers in a foreign country. Plus sunbathing on the beach alone wasn't so bad🏖🌴😎

Nothing like relaxing with view at my feet in Playa Del Carmen.

Playa del Carmen is a coastal resort town in Mexico, along the Yucatán Peninsula's Riviera Maya strip of Caribbean shoreline. In the state of Quintana Roo, it’s known for its palm-lined beaches and coral reefs. Its Quinta Avenida pedestrian thoroughfare runs parallel to the beach, with blocks of shops, restaurants and nightspots ranging from laid-back bars to dance clubs.
