It is wonderful to finally make my dream a reality and bring this original recipe Cranberry Bread to all! My grandmother made this bread every Easter (without cranberries!) and it was always one of my favorites. I knew it would remain a family favorite recipe and I would eventually make this bread for my family. After college, my husband and I moved back to my hometown of Erie, PA, where my grandm

other was still living. I spend a good amount of time with her in the kitchen and she taught me many wonderful things! But, as with many in her generation, NOTHING WAS WRITTEN DOWN! So we began the task of her adding ingredients and me measuring until we had the recipe in written form and perfected. My little grama always thought fruit would be good in this bread so we tried apples and blueberries but neither was working so we decided to leave it as-is. Then, years later when preparing for Thanksgiving, I was combining the batter and it just so happens that a big bowl of whole, fresh cranberries was on the counter....we looked at each other, smiled and threw in a few handfuls, just for fun! Combining the tart of the cranberries with the sweet bread made it POP! I have been giving loaves of Cranberry Bread as gifts for many years. I have also made many loaves for friends to give as gifts to co-workers, neighbors and friends. A good friend keeps mini loaves in her freezer during the holiday season to give the hostess of the parties she attends..adding a holiday ribbon and bow makes the perfect gift for many occasions! There are no limits to how this bread can be served: warmed for breakfast with coffee, a slice right out of the fridge or toasted with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert works every time! I hope you love this bread as much as I do and know that each loaf and each muffin has been made lovingly with precious memories of my little grama in my mind! I now make this bread with my darling grand-daughters and hope my daughter will carry on this tradition with those in her future! Thank you for reading my story and ENJOY!!!

Oh Happy Day! My nephew and his beautiful bride have only just begun their life together as a married and fabulous couple!! They asked for cranberry muffins on their cookie table...and my brother (groom’s father) suggested heart shaped! How cute are those?? So, now cranberry muffins are also available in heart shape for special occasions or “just because”! Taking orders and as always, will deliver!!

It seems most appropriate that my last delivery of this Christmas season is to my mom at the assisted living facility where she resides...this bread is her mom’s original recipe but unfortunately, she only somewhat remembers those details....hopefully enjoying this today will bring back pieces of the past that she so loved!! Merry Christmas to all and may the days ahead be filled with all those you love...you are making memories!!

This is my story....I talked about my little bread business for 15 years...I am so blessed to have family and friends who encourage and support me every step along the way!!
