22 years ago on September 11, 2001 our nation was attacked. Now more than ever, we must NEVER FORGET what happened that day. God bless all of those whom we lost, as well as their families and loved ones.

This was an act of terrorism, an attack on our freedom, the largest single attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor. The sorrow, pain, anguish, and horror of that day should be imbued on the collective soul and heart of our country.

My childhood best friend, loving brother and husband, Navy Veteran, and good soul William J. Martin, jr. lost his life in the North Tower that fateful morning. A full life ahead of him cut short, some dreams never to be realized. We must tell their stories and keep them alive so all will know. We can not let this day slip silently into history.

RIP Bill Martin, and all those who perished. Our hearts still ache and you will never be forgotten.

DoorDash will charge higher commissions to McDonald’s restaurants starting next year for orders that keep a delivery driver waiting, documents show restaurants-11644834602

McDonald’s franchisees are not happy about this new arrangement. Maybe it will help motivate them to improve operations and increase efficiency.

The food-delivery app also lowered its base commission rate for the burger chain in the latest contract between the companies.
