Most people don’t guess this about me, but my very favorite thing to teach in an AgerBomb Seminar is the Sn**ch!! Seriously, it was a movement that I went to countless gyms and weightlifting coaches to soak up their knowledge bombs - and trust me I love to share them with my friends ;)

2013 SoCal Regionals - man did I gain some LIFE EXPERIENCE that day! I still talk about the athlete mindset at seminars and share what I learned.... when you have a bad event, and you don’t perform how you wanted... you need to SHAKE IT OFF! I had a two minute transition from failing 3-rep Over-head squat to doing 30 burpee muscle-ups for time. I just sat down... changed my shoes... took off my belt and got focused!!! I had a strong 2nd place in the muscle-up event and even though I could have used it as an emotional low, I used it to push me forward. To push me past the obstacles, push past the pain, and push to the finish line. More stories like this about athlete RESILIENCE in the sport of CrossFit!
