We’re back!!! Miss us!? 🤩

Tonite we went to OAK Prime - wonderful new place! Grilled octopus 🐙 was amazing. Haven’t found anywhere else that serves it like that. Creme brûlée was definitely in the top 5! It was maple burbon flavor I believe. Great atmosphere and wonderful service!

A week or so ago we had a random night out and made a spontaneous trip to bistro 90. Pork belly, rack of lamb and a veal chop! All amazing as always! A few martinis and crème brûlée and red velvet cake. Needless to say we were stuffed! Waitstaff was great! Always a go to! 🍸

We had a lunch date that turned into shopping and a dinner date at Chianti South. 20 years and I hadn’t been there! So glad we stopped. Will definitely go again! All homemade pastas!! 🍝 didn’t take any pictures but everything was great. We tried the clams casino, a couple different pasta dishes and cannolis for dessert!

Had another wonderful lunch at Clark’s in little river. They have a great patio overlooking the marina. Even in the rain it was fun! We had the scallops, oysters, tuna, and salads followed by creme brûlée, our favorites!!

Kingston Bistro - a very good last minute decision for dinner one night last week. Had an array of food, great drinks and live music was wonderful!! Will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful dinner this past week at a new place called Heirloom Bistro. They have the option of choosing different tiers and the amount of courses you’d like. Everything was amazing! Top notch service!

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Greg Normans in barefoot. Our server, Sarah, was equally attentive and a joy! Overall the experience was top notch. We arrived early, got a perfect table with a view of the marina. The place was all decked out as well 🎄 we tried kangaroo and ostrich, lamb lollipops and split a ceasar salad with the best dressing, and added anchovies! Dessert was creme brûlée and the house special of flan! 🍮

Lasts nights dinner was amazing! 5 courses with mocktail and wine pairings. Couldn’t pick a favorite dish as they were all great! You can tell each dish was well planned and plated with love! If you are looking for a wonderful place, this is it!

Last week I was able to do a 5 course dinner pairing with wine at Bar 19 Twelve. Everything was amazing. Jamie wasn’t able to attend but I had a wonderful friend join me, Susan Hendrix Giovanni ! We had a blast!

Some food over the past few weeks since Jamie and Amy have not been out to eat together in a while! The homemade taco shell maker was a hit, 🌮 a homemade blueberry pie, 🥧 some squash blossoms refilled with a ricotta cheese mixture 🧀 and a beer can chicken, 🍺 Some fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 in Rockport mass, and the biggest pretzel 🥨 I’ve seen in Lexington Virginia.

Had lunch at grumpy monk a week or so ago! So good! Our waitress was amazing, no wait. The whole experience was very good! Drinks were great! Sushi was just what we wanted, too much we took some home!

Last nights dinner was phenomenal, we were greeted and seated for our reservation. Our waitress was prompt with everything and so pleasant! Her name was Precious! The best risotto and I’ve had it almost everywhere on the beach! Cucumbertini for the win! If you haven’t been you’re missing out!

So 42nd Street Bar and Grill is a little hidden gem. I’ve driven by a 100 times and never thought twice about it. Until we googled places for lunch and this place popped up, only it wasn’t open for lunch! So we had to try it out for dinner! This place is in my top 5 on the beach! Everything was phenomenal, we made an early reservation and had a wonderful time overall! ⭐️

Clarks in Little River! So good! We had a spontaneous day out and drove until we saw somewhere we’ve never been! Martinis, tuna, shrimp, salad and sandwich and our favorite creme brûlée to finish it off!! We even hit the little shop next door! Great afternoon.

Made it to J Peters tonite for some prime rib. 🥩 Been craving it for some time now! Hit the spot. Go for early bird, it got busy but staff kept up! Great service, food and drinks! 🍹

It’s been a crazy long week but we had an impromptu dinner at Hook and Barrel last week! It was amazing as always, and neither can resist the creme brûlée! 🦪 🍸 🥗 we went early and got seats at the bar, it did get busy, but be patient, many restaurants are understaffed! Everyone working was wonderful! 🤩
