Current active VFW members, veterans, and active duty personnel from all service branches are invited to attend our monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month at 7:00pm. We now offer 2 large flat-panel TVs, internet music jukebox, ATM, and free wireless internet access. Hours:

Sad day... Wilbert (Jr.) Dunbar passed away in the early morning hours after a long battle with cancer. Family and friends are mourning his passing. Jr. was a very active social member of our VFW and did all he could to help it thrive. He will be sadly missed by many. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers...

Friends of the Palmerton VFW will be hosting a comedy night on Saturday October 6th, 2012 at the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club, featuring "Raymond the Amish Comic." Following his show there will be music by DJ Dave Terel. Tickets will be $25.00 and will include: Raymond, DJ Dave, a buffet style meal, beer, and soft drinks. This event will be B.Y.O.B. The show will contain "Adult Language." You must be 21 to attend. Doors will open at 5:30.

Thank you very much for coming out to our Christmas party . It was a real nice turn out its always good to see everyone with smiles on there face . And I would like to say thank you to all of our military men and woman who make are country a safe place to live . And to all comrades who are still fighting the war and will not be home for Christmas you are not forgotten in our hearts we pray you will be home soon . So again thank you for your support it means a lot .it shows that Palmerton memorial post 7134 really means a lot to our community Thank you so much for a great year .and remember thank a veteran for there service it does not matter if was peace time or during a conflict we all gave them a blank check .
