The cabin is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac, bordering the Nicolet National Forest. You will arrive on a winding gravel drive through the towering forest. Pull into the garage and park next to a conveniently built bench and resting place for shoes, boots, helmets, etc. The cabin is charming, built with reclaimed wood in the floors,
beams, ceiling and doors. The vintage camp style will make you feel right at home and cultivate new family memories! The cabin hosts one dedicated bedroom with a queen and lots of closet space. The loft has two queens with privacy screens and two extra cots. The walk out basement has an amazing reclaimed wood bunk system with two queens and two twins. An extra-large fireplace, stocked with wood, dominates the living room for winter nights but there is A/C for those extra warm summer ones. Enjoy a cup of coffee for the sunrise on the attached deck or sunset on the screened in porch. A propane grill is available for cookouts on the deck. A walk out from the basement will lead you right out to the firepit surrounded by adirondack chairs waiting for stories, songs and marshmallows. The roasting sticks are in the kitchen. :)
Hoping to sneak away and “work from home”? Wi-Fi is available but don’t work too long! The woods are calling! Enjoy a stroll around the 26 acres on the laid paths and take in the wildflowers and fresh air like nowhere else in Wisconsin. If you find yourself at the lake lot across the street (about a 10 min walk), cross the little bridge and take out a kayak, paddle board or pole. Spectacle Lake is sandy bottomed and clean, perfect for swimming in our little bay. You can also choose to drop your own boat at the public launch, as it is a full recreation lake. There is a pier on property equipped with a fishing chair and ladder. Just want to watch the activities? Grab a chair and start a little bonfire here as well beneath the shady pines. *Note: if you’d rather drive, or have lots to carry, you can take the road around to the other side of the property and park on the lake lot in the designated parking spots.
