The northern lights were fantastic last weekend!! There’s some snow on the ground. It’s about time to load up your sleds and head this way. No worries, there’s plenty of parking for your trailers too! As always, there’s dry firewood for your convenience. We have some openings in December and January. I’ll post the link in the comments if you want to check availability.

We recently had a Generac Whole Home Generator installed. Thank goodness we did because unfortunately the power has been out several times this week and for hours at a time.

We have a three time returning customer staying this week. He let us know his vacation wasn’t affected at all by the loss of power as the generator kicked right on.

We had a great week at the cabin. We put a portable air conditioner in both upstairs bedrooms. We also built a big log rack to hold firewood for our guests. It is such a beautiful, peaceful location! Great times we’re had by all.

The dock is in, the water trampoline and toys are out, the firepit is ready for some big fires and delicious s’mores! The Starlink WiFi is so reliable. Working from the Northwoods is definitely an option here.

A group of 8 guys stayed at The Bears Den last weekend. Nothing but fun had by all. Of course there’s plenty of snow in Phelps. The trails are right in front of our cabin and they are nice!! You can get anywhere on your sled. We still have a few weekends available. Come enjoy a fire in the snow, some great ice fishing and awesome trails. Feel free to book directly for a discount.

You can’t beat ice fishing in Phelps! This is a very popular local sport, one you can enjoy with the whole family.

We have several openings at our cabin for this winter. We’re located right on the snowmobile trails and right next to the Nicolet National Forest. We have plenty of room for your trailers and sleds! Enjoy the beautiful outdoors during the day and cozy up to the fireplace in the evening. We provide dry firewood and a huge private firepit area. There’s Starlink WiFi (extremely fast), Direct TV, surround system and a big screen smart TV if you want to relax in the cabin.

Some fun adventures this last week up at The Bears Den on Desert! Check out the captions on each picture.

We enjoyed dinner at the Log Cabin in Conover (the food is to die for), Hillside a few blocks away, Brew Pub in Land O’ Lakes and breakfast at the Pine Cone. We also went in town for homemade ice cream that is sooo DELICIOUS!! 😋🍦

We visited Bond Falls again because it’s so beautiful! Saw the light at the Paulding Light 😳💡 enjoyed great fishing from the dock as usual and lots of fires!

We still have some openings in October if you want to see fall colors this is the spot!

The weather is PERFECT! The stars were so amazing last night. I’ve never seen so many stars so bright. We’ve only been here a day and have enjoyed boating, fishing, stargazing and a fire of course. Just a slice of heaven.
