Mirabai is an expert in spirituality and health and the mind-body-spirit connection, with over twenty years experience as a practitioner of complementary healing modalities and a Master of Theology in Healthcare Chaplaincy from Cardiff University in Wales. She is a certified Massage Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Pranic Healer and Registered Yoga Teacher. Mirabai is an enthusiastic proponent of
Quality of Life. Having worked in palliative care and hospice for many years, Mirabai developed a keen appreciation and desire to share with others the realization of how precious our time really is. She offers Quality of Life Coaching from her desire to share the crucial importance of making the most of our lives on a daily basis by investing in what really matters. Mirabai was trained and certified as a life coach by Martha Beck, best-selling author and Life Coach, whose monthly column appears in Oprah magazine. Mirabai has lectured and presented at the annual conferences of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Association of Professional Chaplains, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Spirituality, Religion, and Health Interest Group of the University of Pennsylvania, the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, the New School and Columbia University. She serves as a chaplain for Solamor Hospice and Cooper University Hospital, where she specializes in Trauma Family Support and is a member of the Palliative Care and Critical Incident Stress Response Teams.
