So excited for my friends at Peter's Place to be moving into their new space!

Today marks 15 years since Peter’s Place first opened our doors. We are truly grateful to all the members of the Peter’s Place community for your help in reaching this milestone year and for bringing comfort, hope, and healing to thousands in our area. As we celebrate our 15th year of service, we are moving in to our very own home! Renovations are underway, and we look forward to welcoming families and visitors this fall!

Our 29th Liv Live event!!......Come out and hear some great artists share their music and spoken word...

Only 2 weeks until our upcoming Liv Live Concert in East Goshen Park on September 15! Join us for several incredible performances, a great selection of raffle prizes, and the culmination of "22 in 22 - Pushups with a Purpose" of East Goshen Park's own Jason Lang!

As a reminder, our event is totally free! A farmer's market and classic car cruise-in will be in the park on this date as well, and we truly cannot wait to see you there!

CREATE. Explore. QUESTION. Grow. MEND

CREATE- You are creative! Creativity is not limited to a certain group of people known as "artists".
You have a story to tell. Tapping into your creative process can promote alternative coping skills, problem solving abilities and healing.

EXPLORE - Try it on. Try it out. Have a go. Take a chance.......
Learning to change our behaviors and patterns can take time and courage.
Art making and exploration through the creative process can give you the chance to discover new and unique abilities to express, communicate and cope.

QUESTION - Is it time for you to question what you have been taught and told about who you are and what you are capable of??
Creating can provide a new space for you to work out your answers.

GROW - Take the knowledge you gain through your creative exploration and turn it into strategies for growth, coping and wellness.

MEND - !!. "To make whole or sound after repairing".
Creating promotes healing in various ways:
Feelings of empowerment can be gained through choice making and skill attainment during the creative process.
Expression can take place in a safe, non-judgemental space.
Finished work contains focused energy and serves as a record and witness to your personal experience.

I firmly believe that the quality of our lives is greatly determined by our ability to cope with what comes to us on our individual paths.
