Day 29-

After nearly a month, all good things must come to an end… or is this the beginning?

Today was finishing up all the little last minute items before saying goodbye to our cute Chalet.

I caulked the countertop/slate, took a giant load of cardboard to the dump, met Devin at the bank, packed up all the tools into the Jeep, washed sheets and towels and stored household items.

I still have a huge list of items to complete but that will be for another time.

Michael-n Charidy Simmons, Sara, and Bill and I closed today on a Lake house in Penn Estates, so yet again, we will be remodeling. This time, we can take our time and do more planning.

After leaving MVC and traveling to Penn Estates to our new house, and changing locks, I crawled into Bed at 3:30 this morning, only to wake up at 4:45 to grab an Uber to get to the bus station.
As I write, I’m on a train headed to Newark Airport.
This has been an amazing journey. I’ve learned a lot along the way. The support of Friends and Family has been tremendous and Bill and I are ready to see what the future holds.
I leave the chalet in good hands. As of right now, we have 5 bookings. I hope the people that stay, enjoy our home as much as I do.
Now…. One step closer to seeing my cute husband… can’t wait to be in his arms soon.

Day 28-

The nice thing about ring cameras it that you can check out what going on throughout the day.
Today deer walked across our lawn, so I ran out and took pics.

Tonight I organized the garage to get it ready for the cleaning company that I met earlier today. These folks are the life line of our business.
