Just in case anyone knows anyone, we are thinking of selling the Fin do Mundo - Port Aransas Beach House.

Got an estimate of value from a realtor down there and it looks like about $470k and we would leave it fully furnished.

The grounds opened at 9 a.m. Sandfest will continue through Sunday.
The current edition of the South Jetty newspaper contains a SandFest Guide with all the information you need about the festival. The paper is available on news stands all over Port Aransas.
Many copies of the guide also can be found on the grounds of Sandfest.

On the beach in Port Aransas today, Lucinda Wierenga of South Padre Island creates a sand sculpture that carries a message. (South Jetty staff photo by Lee Harrison, © 2022.)
Wierenga said she "wanted to acknowledge what is happening in the world during a time when so many are sad. This is a subtle way of showing solidarity with Ukraine."
Wierenga's creation is part of the preliminary work taking place on the beach in advance of SandFest, which officially begins on Friday, April 8, and continues to Sunday, April 10.

Sculptors and volunteers are working to get the grounds on the beach ready for SandFest, to take place from Friday to Sunday, April 8 to 10.

Texas SandFest is almost here.

Currently having some custom bunk beds built in the guest room. They will include a Queen, Full and two Twin mattresses. So lots of wonderful beds to sleep in.

Along with this addition, we've changed out the original louver doors to solid doors to allow for more privacy in the the two bedrooms and the guest bathroom.

And we changed out the dishwasher to a standard size which will be helpful to the families who stay at the house.

We will add photos of the bunkbeds as soon as they are completed.

Golf cart accessible to the beach or town, this island home is just a short distance from just about everything Port Aransas has to offer.

Outdoor living space is what Fin Do Mundo is all about, with plenty of deck space for catching the island breezes, and taking a shady nap. There is also a screened in gazebo, with ceiling fans to complete that true island feel. Put up your feet, and pull out a good book for leisurely reading. A large charcoal grill is available for barbecuing.

The kitchen offers two full size refrigerators, one for your everyday items, and the other to store your daily catch. There's plenty of cabinet space and comes equipped with most of your household needs. Dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, wine glasses are provided, along with silverware and cooking utensils. Your primary appliances toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, and full size oven can all be found. A nice size breakfast bar that seats 4, separates the kitchen from the main living area.

The master bedroom offers a plush king bed with a Smart Flatscreen TV and private en-suite bathroom. The Guest room offers two twin beds, each with it's own trundle pull out from underneath. A day bed is available in the back porch area, plenty of bedding for all your guest.

The open floor plan allows the cook to visit with family and friends, while preparing the daily meals. Dining table seats 4 and the breakfast bar seats 4.
