Walking is the most delightful way to discover this oak-shaded coastal city rich with history. Learn about the many innovations, including city planning, the cotton gin, ocean going steamships and more that are part of Savannah's contribution to our culture and history. See some of the nation's finest examples of 19th Century architecture. A walking tour is the best way to see Historic Savannah. Your knowledgeable guide will take you on a trip through Savannah's past with emphasis on architecture and ironwork visible today. Meet the important characters in Savannah's history. Discover the squares of Bull Street: "The jewels in the crown of Oglethorpe's plan," Get a look at some of Savannah's 'hidden" gardens.
