We had a very successful weekend in North Canton, Ohio flying "Pig Headed" at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Balloon & Fireworks Festival. Special thanks to our sponsor Sugardale Foods for their continued support of the community event. Many thanks to a great crew whose efforts allowed "Pig Headed" to entertain the tens of thousands of spectators in attendance throughout the weekend.

Oh, btw, Captain Walt took 8th place in the Fiesta division competition.

The Aloft Horizons Balloon Team had a great time at Balloons over Morgantown, West Virginia, our final hot air balloon event for this season. A BIG THANKS to all of the following:

Our sponsor, KeyLogic, for your support of this community event. It was truly our pleasure to provide a unique and exciting experience to those colleagues and associates who were able to attend.

Our Morgantown crew both recent and seasoned, Hillarie and Mia Loretta. Your efforts ensured that all of our launches and landings were safe and successful.

Our home crew who traveled either with us or separately to Morgantown. Katherine Smale, Eric Boyer and Ken Myer your experience and professionalism was on display and reflected most favorably on our Aloft Horizons team and the entire ballooning community.

The many volunteers, landowners and others to numerous to mention but whose efforts and hospitality were greatly appreciated.

America's Challenge gas balloon U.S. team #3 Sullivan/White flew within 150 yards of our home in Ohio this morning. We hopped in the car and chased the almost to the PA border. We wish all the teams who are currently aloft safe landings.

A great ending to a great flight over Wadsworth Ohio culminated with the Aloft Horizons hot air balloon landing on the taxiway of Wadsworth Municipal Airport yesterday evening. Thank you News 5 Cleveland for the great photo.

Thanks to the Ashland Public Library for inviting us to the Touch-a-Truck event today. We set up our basket and are letting the kids try their luck at throwing baggies at a target. Come out and join us from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in downtown Ashland Ohio.

A busy weekend of hot-air ballooning kicked off Thursday night with the Splash & Dash at the Danville Boat Club. Our Tracy Crane went along for a scenic ride that ended with a safe landing at Winter Park.

A soon to be historic hot air ballooning event to take place tomorrow April 7, 2017. Good luck to all of you attempting this challenge.

We are now officially standing down the cross channel flight for Sunday April 2nd. This is due to the building high pressure and the upper winds which are now in the region of 5-6 knots and clearly not suitable for flying the Channel.
