EXTRA EXTRA! Official Announcement!

The Fitz Inn on Cape Cod is now The Fitz Inn at Blue Lake Springs!

Our migration back to California is complete! The Fitz Inn has relocated to the gorgeous Ebbett's Pass area, and nestled into a lovely little "cabin in the woods."

We are currently getting the inn "guest ready" and will be posting photos and info about the area very shortly.

We hope you will come stay at The Fitz Inn!

Well, we wrapped up our first summer! And even though the world was sheltering in place due to COVID, we had some wonderful guests shelter in our little place. Thanks to all who made the summer a smooth, sunny, safe, sublime success!!

A little history...
In 1980, four families pooled their money and bought a small A-frame cabin in Truckee, California, minutes from Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe.

For 15 years the friends shared ski weekends, summers at the lakes and many wonderful memories. By 1995 the four family's kids had grown, gotten married, and had their own kids, and everyone realized it was time to part ways with the little A-frame cabin.

Our family, The Fitzgeralds, bought another vacation home just up the road from the A-frame, and "The Fitz Inn" was christened on Labor Day 1995. For nearly 20 years more, we enjoyed many memories with family and friends in that wonderful vacation home.

In 2016, when Nancy & Mark relocated to New England, they wanted to continue the legacy of fun times with family and friends... this time on beautiful Cape Cod. And after a few years of saving and dreaming, our wonderful little beach cottage became a reality. We just had to name it "The Fitz Inn on Cape Cod."

We are so excited to share our home with you! Come make some memories!
