All safely back on terra firma! Thanks to everyone who followed our adventure and to the great group of travellers that we have had the pleasure of spending the past 12 days with! Watch out for a new adventure starting in just 30 days. We may be able to fit you on the tour if you still keen!!!!!

Our last night and day spent in Sanur. Last minute shopping, pedicures, manicures and massages! Everyone has weighed their suitcases to find out if they can add anything more! Every inch of space utilised 😆.

Traditional salt making on the black sand beach. Back breaking work using traditional tools like half cut bamboo to wash the sand out salt and purify and dry! Best salt in the world.

What would a Quilters Tour to Bali be, without fabric buying till they dropped in Denpasar! The vibrant colours made choosing no easy task, and the cheap prices of the fabric made it too hard to leave behind! Dilemma upon Dilemma when your suitcase is already half full.....or is it half empty 🙃 😃.

A firm favourite ..... White sand beach! After travelling up over the hill above Bugbug village we had our first sighting of beautiful White sand beach. A lovely tranquil warung under the palm trees where we had delicious meals and some folk swam in the sea.

Day trip today with our first stop being the Coffee Plantation in Ganga Valley. Tasting so many different coffees and teas .... choices! Luwak coffee (p**p coffee lol) was also enjoyed by a few brave hearts x

And the fun experiences never end!! This afternoon a group of adventurers undertook a jungle hike starting in Jasri village visiting the traditional potter and the blacksmith hard at work, and ending on the beach towards sunset, sipping on young coconut juice.... jungle style. They walked along narrow paths through rice paddies, crossed a river using tree trunks, traversed the green jungle hills before a steep descent to the beach. Seems it was an experience of a life time and thoroughly enjoyed by all x x

What is better than lunch at beautiful Padang Bai! Delicious food and a lovely white sand beach! The water really is this colour!

A stop at the Japanese War tunnel which is particularly interesting to the guys and historians. A few interesting statues on the way!

Relocation day doesn't get much better than this! First stop the ikat weavers and batik village where we could see these traditional crafts being made first hand, and the beautiful shop to purchase ready made items. Onwards to the woodcarver which craft is handed down from father to son! Such precision and passion in each handicrafted item.

Quilters Heaven! A day out of stamping and dyeing their own batik fabric! Such awesome designs produced and the hubby's jad a barrel of fun too! And then ofcourse a good amount of time spent in the wholesale outlet buying metres and metres of fabric!

What a special day for 7 of our quilters! An indigo dye experience, where they got to design and dye using plants and natural materials to dye 2 meters of fabric. What a process and what awesome results!!!

Today was a busy day as we also had groups going to Tirta Empul Temple for the water purification ceremony! The morning group were extremely lucky to see a village procession on its way to the temple.

A morning and an afternoon group partook in the Periuk Bali Cooking Class today! All declared it lots of fun and an amazing experience with top notch Balinese Cusine they had made to end off the activity. They visited the traditional market and explanations about the rice paddies. They also made offering baskets and pounded the spices using pestle and mortar!

And off they go! An excited bunch on a mission to see the elusive Manta Ray's! What a lucky day.... beautiful tropical fish, Manta Ray's and even turtles! What an exciting end to our time on Nusa Lembongan!

An island tour of Nusa Lembongan on buggy's. Super fun and gave us a perspective of the whole island. We stopped at the seaweed farming where we could see the seaweed farms under water, a group of ladies in a village preparing for a ceremony, some went on boats through the mangrove swamps, a walk at the Yellow Bridge and a stop at Mahgiri Beach. Lunch at Dream Beach before a stop at the Blow Holes and Mushroom Bay. A fun experience

Yesterday we left on the Fast boat from Sanur port to Nusa Lembongan Island a mere 30 minutes away. Gorgeous hotel with pool overlooking the beach, reggae music and gorgeous sunset with cocktails in hand. Life doesn't get much better!
