Manyoni’s diverse habitats of rolling grasslands, steep rocky hills, savannah thornveld and riverine forests host a variety of wildlife. This morning I had the opportunity to attend the launch of new route between (ex Swaziland) & .

The route is truly exciting as it gives us more opportunity to access other closer areas like Southern Kruger, Mozambique and Pongola.

In the past, most travellers have had to land in Durban, then hire a vehicle and drive to Swaziland via the borders. This now cuts the travel time and allows more flexibility & accessibility within the region.

Today we met with the team, Mpho Selepe (Sales), Xavier Masule (Commercial Director), Batsabile Nkambule ( Marketing & Communications Director). The Team briefed us on the routes, fares, the attractions and activities.

This morning, I had the pleasure of conducting a site inspection and enjoying breakfast at The Murex, located in the upscale Seapoint district. Accompanying me was the lovely Sharon Kloppers

We had a lovely nature walk around the beautiful golf course yesterday afternoon, and an incredible breakfast overlooking the valley and Lake Naivasha this morning.

We are now on our way to the Masai Mara for what is sure to be an amazing two days of game viewing.

It's World Rhino Day today 🦏

Imvelo have successfully brought rhino back to Hwange after nearly 20years!

After a journey of 17+ hours and 700+ kilometers across Zimbabwe, the first two white rhino to roam Hwange in nearly 20 years are now settling into their new home in the Imvelo Ngamo Wildlife Sanctuary bordering the park. The two rhinos, Thuza and Kusasa, were named by two generous donors from a list of options put forward by five community leaders.

Thuza means” to charge or strike” in Ndebele, alluding to the rhino’s powerful position both physically and metaphorically. Kusasa means “tomorrow” in Ndebele because these rhinos represent a bright future for village children and grandchildren.

🔹1 DAY- Pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive to Gran Melia Arusha for resting and relaxation.

🔹2 DAY- Pick you up early morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater, The Ngorongoro Crater is located at 2200 meters above sea level. Is the largest uninterrupted caldera on the world and one of Africa's natural wonders, with 30,000 mammals living there all the year around like lions, buffalos, elephants, cheetahs, hippo and rhino also is the home to many bird species like flamingos, ostriches, hawks eagles and so on. We'll do a game drive until afternoon where we'll then overnight at Karatu accommodating at Marera Valley Lodge.

🔹3 DAY - Breakfast will be saved then drive to Serengeti (Approximately 3 hours of drive) for game drive with our lunch box until evening where we'll come back for dinner then overnight at the luxury camp inside the park (Pamoja Africa Luxury Camp). Serengeti National Park is the oldest and large National Park in Tanzania, which covers the area of 14,763 square kilometers.
Your eyes will be full surprised in this land where you'll see the great migration of herbivores, especially wildebeests and zebras, prides of lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, crocodiles and other predators.

🔹4 DAY – Wake up and enjoy your breakfast before a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park.

🔹5 DAY – Wake up and enjoy your breakfast before an easy game drive at Serengeti then Drive from Serengeti in the afternoon to Arusha. We will continue our discovery of the extraordinary Serengeti National Park after breakfast until afternoon where we'll start drive back to Arusha.
