Just by the end Of CV-19 I fell ill and after tests and multiple scans I was advised that I have 2 lung tumors that spread from a patholical break of my left Clavical ( Colorbone) which for no reason snapped like a twig
They did a bone biopsy to find that a tumor caused the break and my Oncologist explained that it is all related and was catogarized as stage 4 lung cancer
A year ago I was subjected again to a host and series of intensive tests and scans to confirm that my cancer is in remission and my doctor gave me off to recover from the damage the Chemo treatment caused
I was scheduled to go through further tests and my Oncologist declaired me free from any further cancer growth in my lungs
However a shock analysis is that the kind of lung cancer has the propensities to escalate somewhere in my body and to my surprise I was again analyzed that there is a chance that the cancer spread to my brain and made brain swelling in my Cortex
For the past weeks I had 10 Radiation seccions and as a side effect could be hair loss which is a small price to pay
I decided to shave my hair as blocked shower drains and hair in my bed made me decide to shave my head
My next plan is to dye my hair pink as a Ambassador for Cancer Survivors
If you go through the same process you will understand why C Survivors should be a support group
Live your life to the fullest
Do not take good health for granted

Day 6, Update 2, 13/01/2022 17:30

Fire teams had a quiet day on the fire line. They have completed mopping-up operations in the mountain areas during the past 48 hours. All the resources who have been assigned to the Cape Nature Reserves (fynbos areas) will withdraw at 18:00.

Fire crews have attended to minor hotspots above Heuningkloof and along the R44 throughout the day.

Rooisand area has been quiet for more than 24 hours.

Landowners and the Provincial roads department will assess the dangerous trees along the R44 and take action if needed. Fire crews will continue to patrol hotspot areas for the next 24 hours.

Forestry Support Program (DFFE) staff will continue to patrol the Highland Plantation area.

Our environmental staff and a team of volunteers are continuously looking for tortoises, chameleons, lizards, skunks and snakes to release them as soon as it is safe for them to return to their natural habitat.

If residents find animals that are injured, please take them to a veterinary hospital for assistance.

If you're hiking in burnt areas, please log the wildlife we've lost in this fire. Make a note of the route that you are walking and the animals that you spot along the way that did not make it. Please send the info and photos to [email protected] or [email protected], so that we can assess the ecological damage from this fire.
