Transport operations officer x2

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Daily report on truck movement, current positions, border efficiencies & client efficiencies.
2. POD scanning and uploading on drive.
3. Sending pre alerts and SADs to agents for pre-clearance
4. Extending RIT documents that are due to expir5. Liaising with drivers
6. Collect load documents for incoming trucks.
7. Perform truck inspections & Driver checklists.
8. Maintains/ updates fleet register
9. Maintains/ updates driver register and fleet register
10. Responsible for vehicle change of ownership & registering vehicles and trailers at CVR
11. Responsible for debriefing drivers before and after trips.
12. Any other duties as may be assigned by management or operationally required.

Qualification and experience

1. Degree in Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain
2. At least 5 Ordinary Levels
3. At least 2 years post qualification experience
4. Good communication skills
5. Proficiency in excel.
6.Outstanding organizational skills
