Ingle Farm East Primary School, a site of the Department for Education and Child Development, is situated in the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

Our current priorities are Numeracy, Reading and Writing. Features of these priorities include structured literacy and numeracy blocks, targeted intervention programs, effective use of ICT, Student Voice and Social Education Program which includes Play is the Way and Kimochis. Together our students learn to work and play together in a positive and caring environment. Our core values of responsibil

ity, communication, respect, teamwork and safety underpin all that we do. One of the unique features of our school is the well-kept grounds and oval. The school has mature trees, lush green lawn areas, shaded play equipment/sandpit and hard court play areas. Supporting the 21st century learning of our students our school is well resourced with Interactive Whiteboards in every classroom, a modern Library with a well-equipped computer suite, IPADs, desktops and laptops in each classroom. We have specialist teaching and learning areas consisting of:

{ Deluxe Drop Off }

We had a fair bit of excitement to start the last day of term this morning - a McLaren Artura was the chosen mode of transport for Malika today - the SAFM Black Thunders even rolled out the red carpet for her!
We hope that everyone has safe and relaxing holidays and we look forward to seeing everyone when Term 3 starts on Monday 22nd July. 😀

Tomorrow morning, an IFEPS student will be dropped at school in a D E L U X E car after winning a prize with SAFM.
If you would like to see the car arriving, it will be on Wunkar Avenue at 8:35am tomorrow.

Yesterday we were treated to a performance by the very funny and entertaining Stig Weymss.
Stig is the voice on the audio versions of Andy Griffiths and Paul Jennings books.
Stig and staff from the Ingle Farm library spoke with students about all the great things the local library can offer and encouraged all students to become library members.

{ Congratulations! }

Earlier this year Aimee was selected into the Gymnastics South Australia State Team for Tumbling as a level 5 athlete.
In May she attended the Australian Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast in QLD where she competed against 36 other level 5 athletes from around Australia and placed 2nd overall.
Congratulations Aimee - what a superstar!

{ Thank You }

Thanks to the incredibly generous donation of time, materials, equipment and expertise by the families of Cash, Kobe, Nevaeh and Lewis, IFEPS students can once again dribble, shoot, dunk (🤔) and score on the basketball courts at school.
Students have a renewed love of playing basketball and it’s wonderful to see the courts getting so much use again.
Thank you for the time you put into researching, resourcing, creating and installing the new backboards and rings - it is greatly appreciated. ❤️

The Year 6 Senior Jumpers have arrived! Students will be bringing a note home with them about the seniors T-shirts.
Please make sure you write your child’s name on their jumper straight away so that they can be reunited with the owner if they are left around school.

{ Assembly }

Today, IFEPS PALS (Performing Arts Leaders) and Ambassadors held a whole school assembly in the hall.
All students demonstrated fantastic audience skills, with Room 1 the recipients of the new Assembly Award. As the first class to win the award, they get to choose a name for this cuddly guy.
There was a ‘teachers vs students’ Minute to Win It’ challenge, some information about wellbeing, a wrap up of the term, work shared by Room 5 and a farewell for Donna Read.
Well done to all students who participated today, great work!

Children’s University Graduates 2023

{Congratulations! } Last night, 8 Ingle Farm East Primary School students attended their Graduation Ceremony for Children’s University in the city. They were presented with certificates to recognise the additional learning experiences they have engaged in outside of school. Well done everyone!
