Land Down Under Story
I am @thesolivagantmum. A Cebuana based in Australia. I learned how to swim (eyes open, that’s why i never panic having water in my mask or removing my mask) with the help of my childhood best friend @iamjhan5 at a young age. We were blessed to be at the beach almost every weekend and spend school breaks in a small hut in Moalboal as we were growing up, which explains my love for the ocean. @landdiveunder is a product of a project for a course of which I want to grow even after I finish my course. I aim to make @landdiveunder to showcase different marine life and dive sites of Australia (from divers themselves) for Aussies and people who are keen to dive in Australia. May this become The Great Dive community where people can exchange meaningful conversations and create friendships through diving. Also, I hopefully inspire keen souls especially women and youth to learn this amazing sport and inspire men and women divers that will empower newbies to swim into the unknown and experience a different kind of high. Someone once said - we are all so keen to know what in the outer space and yet there is a more accessible unknown that is as beautiful, the ocean! Let us all fall in love with the ocean together because when we love something, we fight to protect it. x G
