Brothers and sisters,
We all know that Zakah is the third pillar of Islam. Giving Zakah is extremely important to Muslims around the world.
In fact, Zakah is so important that it was mentioned alongside Salah in 82 verse of the Quran.
Allah (swt) says:..but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah..." Quran 2:177

We as Muslims have an obligation upon us to pay Zakah, to fulfil the commandment of Allah (swt) and to take care of needy people around the world. The usual amount donated is 2.5% of a person's total cumulative wealth in one lunar year.

Who can receive Zakah?

Allah (swt) says:
"Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah . And Allah is Knowing and Wise"

We are Dar Al Quran Wa Sunnah are now collecting Zakah money to assist the poor and needy in this blessed month.

WINTER APPEAL 2020 | LEBANON, SYRIA | DQWS

All Praise is due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow him.

My brothers and sisters, as most of you know, due to the war in Syria, over 5.6 million people have fled their homes.. over a million settled across Lebanon in search for safety. Unfortunately, most of them are struggling to stay warm due to the fact that they're living in tents that are not made to withstand such low temperatures!
In Idlib, war have forced thousands of people to leave their homes. Now, them as well as struggling to stay warm this winter.

The Prophet (pbuh) said Seek out the vulnerable among you. Verily, you are only given provision and support due to your support of the weak.

The conditions that surround our brothers and sisters from Syria are unbearable!! They are weak and vulnerable.. They lack food, blankets, clothes, heaters.. They lack the minimum necessities of life!

Allah (swt) placed us here for a reason brothers and sisters, Allah (swt) have blessed us with wealth and security, and the least we can do is help those in need! $100 or $200 will not make a difference to us! but for others it could be life changing..

We at Dar Al Quran Wa Sunnah are now collecting donations to help the Syrian Refugees in Lebanon and Idlib to get through this winter.
We will providing them with heaters, blankets, clothes and food.
Each pack cost $50

We are collecting $5000 in an attempt to reach as many people as possible, That's only 50 people donating $100.

All Praise is due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow him.

Brothers and sisters, the Prophet (pbuh) says:
"Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection"
and he (pbuh) says:
"The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people"
and he (pbuh) says:
"I and the caretaker of the orphan will enter Paradise together like this, raising (by way of illustration) his forefinger and middle finger jointly, leaving no space in between."

The reward of looking after the orphans and the poor and needy of this Ummah is great! And we all need these rewards.. Imagine on the Day of Judgment seeing mountains of rewards from the supplication that an orphan does for you, or because you pat his head and smiled in his face!

There's nothing harder than loosing one's parents and becoming an orphan. No one would wish this for their kids, and if God Forbid, this was to happen.. We would wish for someone to look after our kids and provide for them clothes and food and shelter.
These orphans are in need, and by Allah, if we do not assist them with our wealth, Allah (swt) will replace us with someone else who will help them and earn this great reward.

URGENT TESTS/MEDICATION NEEDED - DQWS -

All Praise is due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow him.

In the pictures below, is Abdul Hay Chamaa from Lebanon. He is currently suffering from a growth delay, this happens when a child isn't growing at the normal rate for their age.
This delay may be caused by a several health conditions and needs to be treated as soon as possible to avoid any more complications in the future.

Few exams and tests are needed to diagnose the reason behind this growth failure or delay, and all of these cost money.

His father told us that the test and exams required at the moment will cost about $1000. That's only 10 people donating $100

My brothers and sisters, Allah (swt) says in the Quran:
Spend (in charity) out of the sustenance that We have bestowed on you before that time when death will come to someone, and he shall say: "O my Lord! If only you would grant me reprieve for a little while, then I would give in charity, and be among the righteous. 63-10

and the Prophet (pbuh) says in the authentic hadith:
Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter... Saheeh Muslim 2699

My brothers and sisters, each and every one of us is tested differently, and here in Australia, Alhamdulilah we're doing so much better financially then our brothers and sisters overseas, and at least here medical tests and surgeries are free while in Lebanon and elsewhere it costs a lot money.

Donate from Allah (swt) has given you my brothers and sisters, and inshaAllah you will see the fruits of your good deeds on the day of Judgment..

URGENT MEDICAL CASE

All Praise is due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow him.

My brothers and sisters, In the picture below is brother Ahmad Al Ghaythi from Yemen. Few weeks ago he was hospitalized due to a car crash. As it is mentioned in the report, the crash resulted in serious injuries to the brother's knees, legs and ribs. He had to undergo two surgeries and two more are needed.

Brothers and sisters, the Prophet (pbuh) says: Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection

and he (pbuh) says: The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people

We are collecting $500 for brother Ahmad to help pay for his surgeries and help him financially until he is back on his feet and able to work again.

URGENT SURGERY - DQWS -

All Praise is due to Allah, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow him.

In the pictures below, is the 7 years old boy Yazan Kadalm who needs a surgery ASAP in Lebanon.
The trusted Sheikh who forwarded the case to us says that if the surgery is not done as soon as possible in the boy's thigh, his bones will not grow normally and he will grow up not being able to walk properly..

My brothers and sisters, each and every one of us is tested differently, and here in Australia, Alhamdulilah we're doing so much better financially then our brothers and sisters overseas, and surgeries there cost a lot of money.. nothing is free.\

Just imagine the boy's happiness when he knows that his surgery expenses are covered, by Allah this is the least that we can do.

My brothers and sisters, Allah (swt) says in Chapter 2, Verse 274
"Those who spend of their goods (in charity) by night and by day in secret and in public shall have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve"

and the Prophet (pbuh) says:
"Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection".

And he (pbuh) says:
"The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people"

The surgery cost close to $1500
That's 15 people donating only $100

When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah ." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah . Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
