Homoeopathy is the most safest system of medicine for treating common maladies, ailments, diseases etc. Homoeopathic medicines by nature are non-violent,nonintrusive and without any side-effects . Thus Homoeopathy represents as most effective means of treatments. Treatment in Homoeopathy is basically based on natural principles with out having any side effects (like allopathic medicines . In Latin this principle is stated as “Similia Similibus Curentur”(let likes be treated by likes)---first propounded by Hippocrates. That is to say , that to cure any disease a drug must be found which is capable of producing similar symptoms when tested. Common people understands it as “Poison kills poison”. Homoeopathic medicines are prepared from plants, live organisms , minerals etc. In allopath or in other western system of medicines, patient’s symptoms are ignored . But Homoeopathy treatment is based on considering symptoms . The reason of every ailment is the result of imbalanced vital force. Balanced vital force maintains the body healthy human body exits lives as long as the vital force continues to function in it. When physical body is rendered devoid of the vital force, existence ends and dead occurs. Homoeopathic medicine can re-establish the balance of vital force and health is restored. Today Homoeopathy is recognized as a high graded system of treatments world wide. Action of homoeopathic medicines extend deep into tissue cells. Though it takes much time to cure, but it results most effective . As a result many chronic diseases are cured smoothly. What is Homoeopathy ? It is the highest development of modern therapeutics. According to Stuart Close ,M.D., ---Homoeopathy is the science of therapeutics. According to Garth Boricks,M.D,----Homoeopathy may be defined as the Therapeutic Method of Symptom-Similarity. According to Encyclopedia –Homoeopathy is a system of medicine based upon the law of Similars. According to Herbert A. Roberts,M.D.---It might better be defined as a system of medicine based on natural laws. According to Samuel Hahnemann says as “ The highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of the health or removal and annihilation of diseases in its whole extent in the shortest, most, reliable and most harmless way, on easily comprehensible principles”. Ancient history of homoeopathy:
More than 2000 years ago in ancient India, the homoeo principle was first born through a verse-as “Shamo Shamong shomoeti’,which was also propounded by Samuel Hahnemann as “ Similia Similibus Curentur” In ancient time that very principle of homoeopathy was shifted to Greece and Rome from India. Thence after, Samuel
Hahnemann in 1810 invented Homoeo system of medicines, which made a radical changes in the field of existing system of medical treatments in the world. Thus that deed made a great revolution in medical science. After Hahnemann, Allen, Kent, Nash were the renowned pioneer physicians of that mission and wrote many books. Life history ofHahnemann :
Fredrick Samuel Hahnemann, father of Homoeopathic medicines, a new era of medical science was born on 10th April, 1755 in German. His father was pottery painter. In his boyhood, he took his education with much financial troubles, He was very much meritorious. He was not only scholar in Medical science 7 chemistry, but also scholar in many languages like , Greek,Hibru,Arabic, Latin,English,German,French,Spanish, Shirian, roman etc.At the age of 24 years he took M.D> degree in allopathic medical science. In 1782 he married a German lady Henrieta.He started his profession as physician in a little village Leipzig in German. There he ran his profession for about 10 years with very high dignity and with fame. But thence after within short time he was much annoyed on the system of prevailing allopathic medical treatment systems, as he found those as were fully based on some fake ideology and
chaotic conditions. He left his allopathic profession and started earning by translating Chemistry books. At that time he found a new door of medical science, when his kids were severely attacked by disease. He made researches on “Cinchona bark & got the principle of “Similia”.He found that if any healthy person could took drugs from Cinchona bark, some ailment systems with heavy fever might come out, which might be cured by taking very small doze of Cinchona bark drugs, made from Cinchona tree( founded idea when he was translating Meteria Medica of Dr. Cullen)..Hahnemann says --- “As long ago the year 1790 ( see Cullens Meteria Medica ) I made the first pure trial Cinchona bark upon myself in reference to its power of exciting it termittent fever. With this 1st trial broke upon me the dawn that has since brightened into the most brilliant day of the medical art, that it is only in virtue this power to make the healthy human being ill that medicines can cure morbid states, and indeed only such morbid states as are composed of symptoms which the drug to be selected for them can itself produce in Similarity on the healthy”. After that he made researches for about 6 years and founded many medicines with new system of medical treatment as—Homoeopathy system. He published first “Homoeopathic Meteria Medica”in 1810 and also wrote books on “ Organon of Medicine,” “Chronic Diseases” etc, for which he was world famous. He died at the age of 88 years in Paris. Dr. Samuel Hahnemann’s views about Disease is as follows:
“ The unprejudiced observer------takes note of nothing in individual, disease except the changes in the health of the body and of the mind which can be perceived externally by means of the senses, that is to say. He notices only the deviations from former healthy state of the now diseased individual, which are felt by the patient himself, remarked by those around and observed by the physician. All these perceptible signs represent the disease in its whole extent, that is together they form the tru3e and only conceivable portrait of the disease”.----vide : Organon—6. Hahnemann’s views about Vital Force:
“ In the healthy condition of man, the spiritual vital force(autocracy),the dynamis that animates the material body(organism),rules with unbounded sway and retains all the parts of the organism in admirable,harmonious,vital operation, as regards both sensation and functions so that our indwelling reason gifted mind can freely employ his living instrument for the higher purpose of our existence”-----Vide Organon –9. Hahnemann’s views about effects on Vital Force during disease:
“When a person falls it is only this spiritual, a self acting (automatic) vital force every where present in his organism, that is primarily deranged by the dynamic influence upon it of a morbific agent inimical to life, it is only the vital principle, deranged to such an abnormal state, that can furnish the organism with its disagreeable sensations and incline it to the irregular processes which we call disease, for as a power invisible in itself and only cognizable by its effects on the organism, its morbid derangement only makes itself known by the manifestation of diseases in the sensations and functions of those part of the organism exposed to the senses of the observer and physician, that is by morbid symptoms, and in on other way can it make itself known”.---Organon—11.
