Detailed Day Wise Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Srinagar Airport | Srinagar Local Sightseeing
On your Arrival at Srinagar International Airport & Proceed to Hotel check-in. Srinagar is also
known as “Paradise on Earth '' & Venice of Asia. Later you will proceed for Local Sightseeing
tour of Mughal Gardens: -
(overlooking Dal Lake) then visit to Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies) CheshmaShahi (Mughal
Spring), Nishat Garden known as ' Then visit Shalimar Garden known as 'Garden of love' built in 16th century
(1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa), Dinner
& Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar | Pahalgam | Srinagar (97 kms 3-4 hrs. drive)
After Breakfast Leave Hotel & proceed for full day excursion Tour of Pahalgam (7200 fts
A.S.L) “Valley of Shepherds”
via en route sightseeing visit Awantipura Ruins, Saffron fields, continue drive towards Pahalgam, Pahalgam is the most famous
place for Indian Film Industry. In Pahalgam you can also visit Betaab valley (Betaab Valley is
situated at a distance of 15 kilometres from Pahalgam he valley got its name from the Sunny
Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows,
snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation) and Aru Valley (Aru Valley is a
small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam) or you can A local Taxi has to be hired for these beautiful places (own your own expenses). Return back to Srinagar .Dinner
and overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar | Gulmarg | Srinagar (56 kms / 2-3 hrs. drive)
After breakfast leave for Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” Discovered by the Kashmiri
romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild
flowers. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snowfall. It turns into India's
premier Ski resort in winter. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest
golf course with 18 holes, enjoy your day by gondola Ropeway ride (on your own Expenses). Later on the way back to Srinagar you can enjoy showrooms check-in where you can see how
carpets, shawls, wooden arts, Paper Mache arts & Silk products are made, So that you get
the whole Kahmiri Culture Explored on reaching Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight stay in a
reserved Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 4: Srinagar | Sonmarg | Srinagar (78 kms / 2-3 hrs. drive)
After breakfast leave for Sonmarg for a Day trip the name Sonmarg is derived from two
Kashmiri words ''Son'' & ''Marg'' Which means ''Gold'' & ‘‘Meadows’’. When put together it
means ''Meadow of Gold'' The drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg is very beautiful as you will
pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the Paddy fields with
rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms
from Sonmarg. A local Taxi or pony has to be hired (on your own Expenses). Return back to
Srinagar in the evening after enjoyed your day, in evening you will enjoy SHIKARA RIDE on
world famous Dal Lake in which you will cover, Floating Gardens, Vegetable Gardens,
Golden Lake, Inner markets like Mena Bazar, and Canals etc., also enjoy the scenic view of
Zabarwan Mountains, Later drive back to reserved Houseboat in Dal Lake for overnight stay.
Day 5: full day Trip... Srinagar.... & shopping..
Night stay srinagar..
Day 6: Departure from Srinagar Airport.
After breakfast at Houseboat you will proceed to Srinagar Airport to catch your Flight for
your onward destinations
