✨Happy 35th Anniversary to the original Little Mermaid movie

This movie is the reason I love Disney so much. I was 3 years old when my uncle brought me to the movies to watch this in theatres. After that, he was bringing me 4x a week because I just loved it.

“The Little Mermaid” was the last Disney animated feature to use traditional hand-painted cel animation before transitioning to digital methods.

The film has also won Golden Globes and Academy Awards for both Best Original Score by Alan Menken and Best Original Song “Under the Sea” sung by the late Samuel E. Wright music and lyrics by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman who also wrote most of the songs from “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin”

On a Monday, I’d rather be sitting on the “beach” at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
