We love the #YRQ and we are excited about the Ultra Paddle League

One of the best parts of the Yukon River Quest is meeting and paddling alongside the canoe teams. This was a real buzz on the first afternoon when everyone was close together, and it was an absolute lifesaver in the latter stages of the race where we'd often be paddling for hours without seeing anyone at all. Sleep deprivation, hallucinations and borderline-insanity could all be kept at bay just by having someone to chat with and pace set. The YRQ a one hell of a fun/epic/crazy race -- add it to your 2020 bucket list if you're up for an adventure... @starboardsup @qbpaddles @vmgblades @yukonriverquestmedia 🚁 @trev_sup #droneoftheday #yukonriverquest #ultrapaddleleague

Volunteers are the life blood of any race and they are the sole reason a race can become legendary.
Big Thank You to all the volunteers past present and future.
From all the racers and support crews of the #yukonriverquest

Most of the SUP competitors are finished with the first stage of the @supyukon quest! We had a quick chat with a few of these maniacs after today’s first stage. Bart came in first with a very fast pace of 25.5 hours! We are still waiting for a couple competitors to come through. Luckily a few of the guys came in with 10 minutes to spare! (Cut off was 34 hours). Here’s a short recap of the end of stage 1 today. Good luck for tomorrow’s race! 🎥 @trev_sup

@bradfriesen all smiles! Wait till the end.

Sunny skys and a great send off to the lead boats at the first check point.
Our favorite video from 2016 the inaugural year SUP was in the Yukon River Quest. 20+ hours straight on a SUP. @normhann does a little dance. Shaking off them "sealegs".
Great video by a local pioneer of paddling.

This year was my best #SUPtember ever. 5 different bodies of water, 2 separate parts of Canada, paddling 3 different boards... I topped it off with a run down the Takhini River on the last day of the month. So. Fun.

Two time finisher @emilymatthews enjoy the final moments on the water before the finish line at Dawson. That's over 1450 kilometers in just 2 races... 888 miles for our southern neighbors. One word to describe it is "Awesome"
Gold Rush SUP
Hired as a guide to join this SUP adventure with Christiane Kappes a year or two ago. We were very excited to have this video finally finished :). Do you wonder what its like to SUP from Whitehorse to Dawson in Canada last frontier? First time the Starboard Starship was used over a 750km journey. Have a look at this 6 day expedition on the majestic Yukon River.
