This short video about our Belfast Urban Affinity Festival which took place on Monday 5th Nov as part of Belfast Music Week, was filmed, edited, and produced by the young students of Lurgan Junior High School. They also conducted all the interviews. Great bunch of young people.

A big thank you also to all the facilitators and young people that took part in the workshops and performances.

Special thanks to and the clinic who blew the kids away, and invited some of the young people up for a bit of beatboxing, break dancing and more.

What an atmosphere.

Buzzing after an amazing day of workshops, and Nathan Flute Box Lee and The Clinic brought the house down. Break dancing 12 year old Cian, and a very talented young beat boxer that got up and got involved stole the show.

Part 2 of Urban Affinity kicking off at 6.30pm - the Last night a DJ saved my life foundation House The House DJ final - 8 aspiring young DJs battle it out at Oh Yeah this evening for a place in the grand final in London next March.

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation - DJ Vacancy - 16-25 year old required to win the House The House competition. All genres welcome. Just upload your mix to Mixcloud.

Belfast Urban Affinity festival at Oh Yeah kicks off Belfast Music Week

The Oh Yeah Music Centre will kick off its programme of Music Week activity on Sunday, October 30, with the Belfast Urban Affinity Festival – an all day event packed with free workshops and a performance from one of the UK’s rising Urban acts, Fugative.
