Free parking in the evening in the car park opposite the theatre, also the Teatro Bar and restaurant next door to Barn Theatre. We've been to several shows now and thoroughly enjoyed them all!

Gloucestershire vintage and country extravaganza was on in Cirencester 5th-7th August (Fri, Sat, Sun). We went on the Friday and our guests went on the Sunday. Weather was extremely obliging.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the show spending all day to get around the huge showground.
Excellent.

We've just had some lovely guests for the last week. We recommended "The Barn Theatre" to them (3 miles away) where they saw "The Million Dollar Quartet" (on until 16th July) and they "LOVED IT". We also saw it 2 weeks ago and it was brilliant.

We are excited today to take delivery of our New Solid Oak framed King Size bed and luxury mattress. We've had great fun putting it all together and dressing it up with all the new bedding, hopefully this will be a nice surprise for those who have already booked.😉

We would like to wish our past and future guests a very happy New Year for 2022.
We have also just hosted our 90th guest.
In April (delayed from February thanks to Oak Furnitureland!) we will be taking delivery of a Solid Oak King Size bed with a high quality mattress to provide even greater comfort for our taller guests.

We are now on our 12th guest since reopening on 12th April. Whilst a number of pubs and restaurants have been open for outside catering, today 17th May they will be permitted to host inside too which should make evening visits much more comfortable.
Lighter evenings are already with us and hopefully warmer weather will follow.
We wish everyone an enjoyable summer.

We've been busy over the last few weeks replacing fencing and improving the garden space. We expect to re-open after lockdown3 on 12th April. Bookings have been coming in thick and fast from 12th April. So far we have 66 nights booked through to August.

We'd like to thank all of our guests for supporting us during this extraordinary year.
It's been very strange, with so many cancellations due to lockdowns and tier level changes.
Even so, despite only having our first guest over Christmas last year (2019) we think we've been quite lucky having 109 occupied nights and 63 cancelled nights during 2020.
Although closed for the foreseeable future we look forward to 2021 being better and welcoming guests old and new back again.

We've now had our new woodburning stove installed (Monday 16th Nov). This is a more efficient and cleaner burning stove than the old one. It's also much easier to use and easier to keep clean.

Hopefully we will be able to re-open from 2nd Dec for our next booking arriving 4th Dec and put up the Christmas decorations.

Well, we knew it would probably happen! Sadly we will have to close down again until 2nd December (at the moment!).
Since we re-opened on 6th Aug we've had incredible success and October was our best month by far with 28 occupied nights and 10 lots of guests.
We also achieved Airbnb superhost status.
Sadly we have to cancel or reschedule our November guests and we're hoping that we can keep our December and Xmas and New year guests.
Hopefully we can use this time to make a few improvements and come back stronger.

Well, what a crazy year we're having!
We moved to AirBnB in February and had back-to-back bookings until we had to close in mid March, Sadly this meant we had to cancel bookings through to July - all of whom received a full refund or rescheduled for 2021.
We used the shut-down to make some big changes outside (re-painting, renewing fences and adding decking and a patio).
We re-opened on 6th August and soon became fully booked for August and September and are now receiving bookings for October and December. We've also had 2 guests with infants and 1 guest who has re-booked for October this year! To date we've had 17 guests stay. Obviously things are still far from normal and the future is still very much unknown so we still have to take things week by week.
We would like to thank all guests who have stayed with us, all of whom would be welcome back, together with our future guests who will hopefully enjoy the bungalow as much as our past guests.

Well, we're still not opening up for guests until mid August (our choice) and we've already had a couple of bookings come in during the last few days.
Things are looking up😀

Because there is still some uncertainty to this date we have decided to take a slightly more cautious approach and have now opened up our calendar to new bookings from 16th August.

Although we've been closed to visitors over the last month due to Coronavirus restrictions, we've taken the opportunity with the good weather to update the exterior of the property, repainting all the brown doors/windows to a more in-keeping Cotswold sage green colour. We think it looks so much better.

We've also been busy building a new decking area behind the kitchen area and improvements to the rear garden - but those pictures will have to wait until we're finished.

All in all, we're keeping busy, taking the opportunity to improve things while we're closed.

Due to government guidelines advising against social contact we have unfortunately taken a difficult decision to close the bungalow.

At present, all bookings until the end of May have been cancelled in line with AirBnB exceptional circumstances policy for a full refund.
We are currently not permitted to cancel bookings for June onwards without penalty.

We are currently not accepting new bookings with a start date prior to September.

Obviously as things progress we will review this date as necessary.

We have been continually symptom free and hope to remain so.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but sadly these are very difficult times.

Since moving to AirBnB on 28th Jan (just under 5 weeks ago) we've taken 17 bookings and have had 6 AirBnB guests stay during February. Apart from a few days in March we are now unable to take further bookings until mid May!
All guests so far have been really good.
Looking like the move was the right decision!

Over the last week we've had more guests and also had storm Dennis to cope with which took out a run of fence panels and left us without power from 7pm Wed to 11am Thu (16 hrs). Fortunately we were able to provide the last guests with a Gaz lamp and a thermos flask for a hot drink, whilst the log burner kept the place warm.

Another happy guest. It's such a pleasure to have people who respect the place and leave it as they found it. This one was particularly important because we had to do a quick turn around for our next guest arriving this afternoon.

Just had our 3rd guest. Once again we're really happy with them, left the place clean and tidy, looks like they couldn't fit more into the guest book!

We moved to AirBnB nearly 2 weeks ago and this was our first guest with them. In less than 2weeks with AirBnB we've received 7 bookings!!! 5 of which are for February! We only received 3 in 4 months with our last agents.
