What a fantastic first day - many thanks to all who came out and hope you had a good time. Today we see the Official opening ceremony , some fabulous music from Rock Choir and the Jersey Tones and lots more to entertain you. Why not try the Carnival quiz in the evening?!

Dawlish Warren is known for its beach but did you know we also have a nature reserve and walks along the Exe Estuary? Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Today is National Coastguard Day in the United States but we thought we would also give a shout out to the local coastguard in Devon.

Dawlish Warren has a lovely sandy beach ideal for paddle boarding and swimming, but do be aware of beach safety as we would really rather not have to call our local coastguard to rescue you!

National Marine Week is an annual celebration organized by The Wildlife Trusts to highlight our deep connection to the sea.

There are many ways you can embrace the sea from Dawlish Warren - swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking or try a fishing boat trip. You can also catch a ferry from Starcross to Exmouth where you will find a variety of boat trips available

You may be lucky and see some of our local dolphins and seals too.

We are not far from Dawlish town. Jump on a bus, train or walk along the sea wall to see our famous black swans and other ducks.

You could also treat yourself to a cream tea or ice cream from G**s Creamery

Please be aware this is a quieter park so not suitable for those looking for lots of kids entertainment although we do have a small funfair, big wheel and go karting at the local beach which is flat and sandy and a short flat walk away.

Today is World Sand Dune Day and we are lucky to have some gorgeous sand dunes at Dawlish Warren

🪂 The English Riviera Airshow 🪂

The time is creeping ever closer for our first airshow cruise of the year and we are mighty excited!

Sunday 2nd June will see the return of the English Riviera Airshow and we will be sailing along the coast from Exmouth to watch the air displays from Pride of Exmouth ✈️

Anyone who has joined us for one of our heavily over-subscribed airshow cruises in the past will almost certainly agree that there is no better way to avoid the queues and to ensure the best seats in the house! 🎉

A big wheel has been erected on the beach walk at Dawlish Warren for the summer season. The wheel will afford great views over the nature reserve, dunes and the Exe Estuary. (image for illustration not actual wheel)
