Hope you all enjoyed the holidays.
Well look at this that arrived in my inbox last night !
I am now a Airbnb Superhost 🥰

I missed it by one day last quarter. You have to meet a certain criteria and one was 10 stays. My 10th stay ended 1 day after the deadline.

So what does it mean to be a Superhost.

“A Superhost is someone who goes above and beyond in their hosting duties and is a shining example of how a Host should be. You can easily identify one from the badge that appears on their listing and profile.”

Thank to you all my wonderful guests that have stayed with me, and made my first 5 months hosting so much fun.
I even have my first repeat guest this month which is praise enough for me

White fluffy towels are a must at The Studio.
Lots of research went into the towels we use, and how to keep them white and fluffy.

After purchasing and testing white towels from different brands we found that were the best.

And how do we keep them so fluffy ?
Wash at 60c with a 1/4 cup of white vinegar and use your dryer to keep that pile soft and fluffy.

Hi, I’m Anna the person behind this account.

I set up my first short term rental in Frome at the end of July this year.

I have a background in Interior Design, commercial and residential. Designing a STR requires a different outlook.

Decorating a STR is quite different to decorating a home. I had to consider the extra wear and tear that would be had.

Design has to be simple and uncluttered but still feel homely.

Bedlinen has to withstand lots of washing, therefore I chose white 100% cotton.

I love hosting, and hearing what brings people to Frome, a wedding, visiting Longleat , or a weekend away.

Infact I enjoy it so much, I’m doing it all again!

It has been a while since I have posted, just because I have been so busy with The Studio. Lots of wonderful guests have passed through The Studio doors these past weeks.

It is important to me that I use as little plastic as possible. All our hand washes , shampoo, conditioner and body wash cone in refillable amber bottles.
I buy in bulk and all our products in the bathroom are vegan too.

Our toilet paper is from Who Gives a Crap, no inks, dyes or scents are used.

Are these important factors for you when choosing a holiday rental ?

Autumn vibes are entering The Studio.

Simple changes; white linen napkins have been replaced with charcoal grey.
A beautiful autumn centre piece for the dining table , and how about a cute mini pumpkin, in white of course. Keeping the Scandi theme even in autumn.

As Autumn starts to creep in, The Studio is having an autumn makeover on Wednesday. I currently have a guest in and changeover is tomorrow.

I cannot wait to share the full makeover for the cozy season.

My favourite room in The Studio is the bathroom. I am in love with my Still & Bloom vanity unit. Teamed with a Victoria Plum white bowl and black tap, gives me all the scandi feelS.

The Studio has been booked most weekends since we officially opened. We do have limited availability left in August.
We are perfectly located to visit Longleat, Bath, Glastonbury and of course Frome to name just a few beautiful locations to visit.
