Carts Bog Inn is definitely worth a visit when staying at Grove Cottage.

Arrived last night to a lovely warm open fire, welcoming staff and tasty food

We went for Hunters Chicken and Steak and chips.
Followed by Chocolate Brownie and White Chocolate Cheesecake both served with ice cream

Only a 10minute drive from Allendale.

After a last minute breakaway Grove Cottage has availability throughout February.

Grove Cottage is perfect if you’re after cosy nights in by the fire after exploring the area. The cottage is situated in the centre of the village close to the co-op and pubs/cafes.

Plus plenty to see within driving distance, Hexham 15minutes, Newcastle about 45minutes.

We have availability from the Saturday 28th September which incorporates the burning of the Wolf 🐺 which isn’t to be missed.
