All of our guests are special but some of them are extra special. This summer (!) we are lucky enough to have a fabulous couple in their eighties who first stayed last September and are now back for 2 weeks. They have decided this is their last trip to Bude as it’s too far for them to drive 😢. John is ex-RAF (as is Ian) so we hope he loves the flag raised in his honour. They are the loveliest couple and I’m looking forward to all our chats over the next couple of weeks 🥰.

Walking on coastal paths this summer? Please keep your dog on a lead 🙏
Sadly, our officers responded to a number of calls last summer after dogs had fallen over the cliff edge.
If you’re planning to walk your dog on coastal paths please be aware of your responsibility around livestock and the dangers of cliff edges, please keep your dog on a lead at all times. Even the best-trained dogs can chase small animals or venture too far.

I know we’re late to the party but my daughter and I have just started watching Alex Rider. Season 2, Episode 1 great excitement!! - we are literally jumping round the lounge to see it is filmed in Bude and they’re camping by one of our favourite beaches (Northcott Mouth). Almost a claim to fame 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Our favourite tea rooms at the moment. Leisurely walk along the canal and onto the beach. Walked along the cliff path to Crooklets beach then back for lunch on The Barge. Coffee and food are amazing. Dog friendly and the staff are lovely.

Another beautiful visit to . I’m not spiritual in the slightest but I find this place enormously peaceful, calming and a little bit magical. Fabulous coffee and cake as always at Tree of Life Cafe.
We had our entrance put in last year but couldn’t complete it until after the Pods had been delivered. It’s finally been tarmaced 😃. The eagle eyed among you will notice the missing post that had to be bulldozed by an emergency tractor to get the pod delivery lorry in 😳. Oh happy days. The post is not making a return!
