This is the view from one of our holiday static caravans which is available to rent.

We are open all year.

Our Static Caravans have three bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people some are pet friendly.

Saturday 9th November

-5am First run of the blazing Tar Barrels from Oakfield Road via Market Street, Bridge Street, South Street, High Street, Bridge Street AGAIN to the field adjacent to Island Park.

-11.30am Judging of the shop windows and decorated houses.

-11.30am Town Crier competition at The Square- organised and run by our Town Crier Ros Chard. Over 20 Town Criers from around the country will come to this popular competition.

- 1.45pm Children's procession assembles at Claremont and moves down through Town (led by Hatherleigh Silver band) to The Community Centre for judging and crowning of our Carnival Royalty.

-5.45pm Carnival floats assemble in The Market Quarter for judging at 6pm PROMPT. Entrants must register floats in the office on arrival.

-7pm Hatherleigh Silver Band leaves The Square to march down Bridge Street to the assembly point by The School. Followed by the massed band marching back up to The Square.

-7pm The Royalty floats leave The Market Quarter followed by all other floats to assemble in Park Road.

-7.30pm Main Procession moves off via Market Street, Bridge Street, South Street, High Street and Hole Court to The Market Quarter.

- Second run of the Blazing Tar Barrels from Oakfield Road via Market Street, Bridge Street, South Street, High Street, Bridge Street AGAIN to the field adjacent to Island Park. Once the main procession is cleared.

This Saturday and Sunday we are open from 9.30am until 12.00
Eat in or takeaway
as well as our full menu is served all day
Homemade cakes and bread are made on site
