Beneath our feet, below our city, the Mill Race still flows under Lancaster...
On the 30 April 2022, join Lancaster Arts and Lancaster High Streets Heritage Action Zone to create a snaking, overground impression of the buried Mill Race stream, using just your voice and simple actions. The line will start at the point at which the Mill Race emerges into the Lune close to Millennium Bridge and will stretch upstream towards the Grand Theatre and beyond.
Help to uncover the Mill Race with a torrent of sound!

Buccelli's is an authentic Italian café, bistro, wine bar, and deli on Church Street and it is not a foodie spot to miss when you visit Lancaster!
The cuisine at this brilliant eatery is inspired by the food of Rome and the Lazio and Tuscany regions of Italy. From the diverse menu, you can choose antipasti, pasta, pizza, tagliere, and more.
The Buccelli's delicatessen has a fantastic offering including pasta, sauces, coffee, cured meat, cheese, vegetables under oil, and pâté.
It was a pleasure to speak to Bruno from Buccelli's to learn more about this business which has been in Lancaster since 2016.
