ross wild ducks, geese, heron and red kites. The village of Cross Inn is only a short walk away and the local shop is well stocked with newspapers and daily supplies. There is also a Post Office and a pub serving traditional ales. The picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron is a short drive away and proves popular with locals and tourists alike with its delightful and colourful Georgian houses, craft centre, shops and great choice of restaurants and cafes. Aberaeron hosts a Seafood Festival in July and during August there is the Festival of Welsh Ponies and Cobs, its Carnival and also a Regatta with many more local attractions on offer within a 10 mile radius. For walkers there are many scenic coastal paths, leading to attractions like the town of New Quay with its sandy beaches and lovely harbour; also renowned for dolphin sightings. Frequent boat trips can be enjoyed around the spectacular coast of Cardigan Bay along with an abundance of summer exhibitions, shows and festivals.
