🌸The official Japan Cherry Blossom season is happening right now 🌸
Cherry blossoms in Japan usually last about two weeks from the start of their bloom to peak bloom. According to multiple outlets, below-average temperatures over the past weeks have slowed the pace of growth, which is now on par with the average year or even lagging behind a few days.
Among the first cities on Japan's four main islands to see their blossoms officially open was Kochi on 23 March and Hiroshima on 25 March. In many major cities in Japan, the peak season is expected to start in the first few days of April.

Important update for US travellers
American tourists visiting Turkey (also known as Türkiye) will no longer require a visa for visits up to 90 days.
This new rule also applies to Canadian visitors. Previously visitors from the two North American nations were required to pay about $50 for an e-visa.
