Behind the build 💫
One of the hardest technical builds I have experienced in 15 years of planning events but worth it for the best clients Donnie Yen 甄子丹 Cissy Wang 汪詩詩
From a 1.5 day build time, truck size restrictions on the single track roads, barge loads with cranes from the Lake into the venue, restrictions on vehicle movement, limited build time, noise restrictions for the build and event, 30 minute derig of the entire Marquee and a 2 hour derig of the entire event… Throw in 16 artic loads of kit trucked from the UK, Netherlands and from Italy, all cross loaded into smaller trucks and pallets for the barge… oh and all to be executed in 40 degrees of heat!

The result… one of the most exceptional events possible 💫

Twas the night before Christmas… and @thegrottouk closed its doors to allow Santa to embark on a busy evening of delivering presents 🎅🏻
We couldn’t be prouder of being a part of the 6 week run of The Grotto at the The Trafford Centre ✨ We managed the concept, design and build from start to finish along side Pop Up Global and their creative magic in casting, scripting and the design of the bespoke costumes for the Santa and elves 🎄

The bit that nobody sees. The preplanning to any event is months, if not years of planning, designing and preparing for the event day, followed by the build. The work, the crew, the behind the scenes is incredible to be a part of and is the key to making every event perfect.

Throwback to our epic Japan adventure in December 2022!
We were tasked with assisting with the opening and launch of the utterly incredible Seasons Niseko after Japan’s borders unexpectedly opened just in time for the Ski Season.
With 20 suitcases of the house essentials, bespoke uniforms and props for the NYE party, the team and I started the 24 hour adventure to Tokyo and then on to Sapporo. From having every bag checked in customs (and subsequently missing two of the connecting flights), we then drove through a snow storm to the mountains to reach our final destination.
Niseko had been closed for near to three years, so we worked tirelessly filming for two days from early morning until late at night to capture the content required. We held staff training, uniform fittings and all whilst we made every moment count exploring Niseko’s charming winter wonderland and bonding as a team. And of course, we captured some amazing behind-the-scenes moments. From the breath-taking landscapes to the team’s shenanigans, this video is a true representation of our epic adventure.

What an incredible day at the RSVP London Symposium hosted at the beautiful The Londoner Hotel. Today I sat on a panel to discuss the intersection of the fast tech rise in the wedding and events industry and how we as an industry can benefit from embracing the tech solutions out there and not being left behind.
The fabulous Katerina Trefilova from That's The One managed the stage and my fellow panellists Emma Murray-Jones Weddings & Events Elegante by Michelle J and Zim Inspired discussed invaluable insights into striking the perfect balance for your business, the pros and cons to embracing tech and a very juicy debate on the integration of AI into the industry… (yes Chatgpt!)
